Citywide Fence & Deck wants you to have all the information you need before you hire us for hardscaping or other services. Here are some of the most common questions we receive, but we always welcome your call if you need to know anything else.

Do you provide estimates?

Absolutely! We make creating your project as easy and stress free as possible. Simply contact us to schedule an appointment for a consultation. An installer will come to your location and discuss your project so that we can provide the best estimate based on your needs. Best of all, these consultations and estimates are always free!

How soon can my project be completed?

Upon your acceptance of the contract and deposit payment, we’ll give you a start date. We believe in producing quality work, and oftentimes a quick turnaround doesn’t deliver good results. We promise to do an excellent job that you’ll be pleased with.

What are your methods of payment?

We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Financing is also available.

How much should I expect to pay for a fence, deck, or patio?

This is a very common question—and the answer changes from project to project. The price of any particular project varies widely and is based upon your needs and job specifications, such as height, footage, ground conditions, and materials used. There is no equation for the average project since each one has its own characteristics that define its cost. We gladly accept projects of all shapes and sizes. No project is too big for us!

My project has already begun, but I’d like to make a change. What should I do?

We totally get it! Changes happen all the time and the staff at Citywide Fence & Deck understands this. As soon as you realize that you would like to make a change, just notify us. We’ll discuss what you want to do, provide a new deadline, and provide you with a new quote!

How should I care for my wood fence?

For the first month, no special care is needed to maintain the appearance of your fence. At six months, you should apply a topical water repellant to enhance the pressure treatment. It is imperative that a water repellant or stain be applied immediately after a fence dries out. This will dramatically reduce the amount of shrinkage and warpage of materials. Repeat every year thereafter. After you’ve had your fence for one year, check gate hinges and locks and adjust if necessary. Also, it’s always good to walk your fence line and tighten any nails that may have been loosened due to warpage or shrinkage. Of course, Citywide Fence & Deck can take care of all these needs as they arise!

How long will my fence, deck, or patio last?

Many factors affect the life of your fence, deck, patio, porch, pergola, or other hardscaping. Local climate, soil conditions, and the materials used can all play a crucial role in your project. You can expect a properly installed project to last many years if properly maintained. However, there are many design and installation considerations in any project that may affect its lifespan.

What type of warranty will I have on my project?

We offer a one-year warranty on all workmanship.
